What started out as a small outdoor Queensday party in the city centre of Amsterdam in 1995 ended up being one of the longest running, independent promoters in the Netherlands. Marnix Bal, founder and CEO of Loveland Events, gradually built Loveland into the leading name it is today in the crowded Dutch festival market.
In 2011 Loveland started the 909 concept, as a homage to the Roland TR-909. Since 2014 Loveland partnered up with German based music label Diynamic for Diynamic Festival. At Amsterdam Dance Event 2015 Loveland is working together with the likes of ENTER., Circoloco, Diynamic and Jeff Mills to put on four exceptional shows. Every year Loveland Events welcomes over 100.000 visitors with a fast-growing share of international visitors.
