Lee Morrison (GB)

With over 25 years of music experience, Lee has a wealth of knowledge in record labels, distribution, technology & conference planning.

He owns and runs music company Monokrome Music, home to ground breaking technology “Rights HUB”. Rights HUB is the one stop solution for artists, labels and rights holders to manage contractual and product data alongside storing all related assets in one secure location. Monokrome also continues to help artists and labels with their route to market through distribution, digital marketing and social media.

As part of the association for electronic music (AFEM) board Lee is involved in multiple campaigns and helps steer the trade body in the direction expected by its members.

By starting to work in the digital music space very early in its inception, Lee has seen the births of key services like iTunes, YouTube, Beatport, Spotify and Juno and more recently has worked heavily on the collection of performance related income for record labels. This includes working alongside collection societies and technology solutions to gather data and revenue worldwide. This knowledge paved the way for the creation of Rights HUB.
