Kris King (GB)

Kris’ love of house music started in 2004 when he was taken to Venus night club in Manchester. He had never heard music like that before and he was addicted; his addiction was funky house! Kris was at the club every Saturday without fail enjoying the music, seeing how the DJ controlled the crowd with the music they played. Being a DJ was a skill Kris had to learn so he purchased his first set of vinyl decks in 2005. He then practiced and learnt his art until he got his first set in August 2007 at the famous Manchester night ‘Plush’. From 2007 he played the Manchester club scene and in 2008 was asked to play at Plastik and Boho in Ibiza and at Gilligan’s in Cairns, Australia. Over the years of DJing Kris started editing tracks for his sets as well as making his own bootlegs. Trying his hand at production resulted in his first track ‘Do It Right’ being released in 2010 on Disco Bomb records. Since Kris cut his DJ teeth back in 2007 he has been invited to play at many clubs across the UK including Sankeys in Manchester, Curb Crawler in Leeds and The Egg in London. Kris is looking forward to making his ADE debut and ‘Socializing’ funky house style.
