Kim Pixa is an always smiling guy with a lot of humility and like others say a legendary most iconic producer and DJ who represents the Czech Republic in the electronic dance scene from the 90'ties. His name raised slowly worldwide with respect for the unique sound and performance. Kim Pixa's music is known in renowned clubs such as Ritter Butzke, Polygon, Kosmonaut, Weekend, Roxy, U Bukanyra and at events next to the best names. He co-organizes big events abroad and is the owner of Maltese record label Sun Recordings and co-owner of Dazed & Confused Records. Since 1994 he has composed music and collaborates with famous names of the world dance scene such as Marc Romboy, Martin Landsky, Xenia Beliayeva, André Winter, Ken Ishii, Deepchild, Dean Demanuele, Oliver Klein and many others. Kim’s releases are available on labels like Sun Recordings, Systematic Recordings, Dazed & Confused, Le Mans, Tretmühle, Beef Records. The music is charted and supported by well-known artists like Pig & Dan, Sasha, Loco Dice, Timo Mass, Oliver Huntemann, Gorge, Acid Pauli, Agoria to name a few. After 7 years of traveling and playing around the globe, in summer 2018 came the biggest change in Kim Pixa’s sound, vocals, mastering, and brand, he opened a new studio for music and video production in Prague and started to produce afro house - techno tracks with his own special manuscript. The success came with first EP Gorilla. The track “Feel Sunny” reached the 11 position at Beatport’s Future Anthem: Afro House and is played at Radio 1. Worth mentioning is also the banger track “Gorilla” with great feedbacks and the blooming track “Space Flowers”. In September came out the third release called “Lion Heart”. The track Lion Heart reached the position 16 in the best Closing Tracks: Afro House by Beatport and climbed on the 82 place in the worldwide BEATPORT AFRO HOUSE TOP 100 CHARTS. Invitation to perform at ADE Amsterdam 2018 just followed, where he premiered the new hit single “Amsterdam”. Back to Prague Kim Pixa celebrated the 100th anniversary of Czech Republic (1918 - 2018) with the instrumental fragile beauty “100 Years Of Czech Republic” reflecting the historical up and downs.
