Kendis (NL)

Kendis started to DJ when she was already 9 yrs old inspired by her uncle, Detroit Legend, Kevin Saunderson and cousin, well known DJ/Producer, Sandro Silva. But really decided to become one after an accident with a bus in oktober 2013 when she was 11. She injured her arm and still has difficulties fully stretching it, but during her recovery became determined to become a successful DJ. She started taking DJ lessons at the Pioneer DJ School in April 2014 and took courses in music production with Ableton at Pyntago. Which led to an item for Dutch TV program Zapp Weekjournaal and a meeting with Hardwell during ADE 2014. In June 2015, St. Maarten’s number 1 radiostation X1043 FM started to broadcast her live mixes. With her everlasting passion, bursting energy and lust for ambition Kendis has already performed at Festival Mondo Verde and Kings Night Amersfoort and she has a monthly residency at a Grand Café in Utrecht, She did gigs for Pioneer and Coach Sneaker Stores and has performed with artists like Oliver Twizt, Lucky Charmes, Awiin and SFB. When Kendis is not sharing her energy behind the wheels of steel, she devotes her time in her studio to produce her own tracks.
