Jonty Skrufff (DE)

Jonty Skrufff is a DJ/ producer, music journalist, radio show presenter (Germany Calling), music conference curator (ADE/ SWMC) and resident DJ at Sisyphos (Berlin). Starting his nightlife career as a music journalist in the mid-90s, he helped launch ground breaking British magazine Muzik in 1995 (as lead feature writer), leaving in 1997 to found EMI’s first ever global dance music portal Dancesite.com. Going fully independent in 2001, he next set up his own press agency/ consultancy Skrufff Media, syndicating content to a global network of dance music portals as well as publishing his weekly e-zine Skrufff-E. He started his daily blog Skrufff.com in 2010. In 2010, he also started consulting for music conferences, joining the world’s number one electronic music summit Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) as a curator. He also now curates the international daytime program for Russia’s nightlife summit Sochi Winter Music Conference (SWMC) and regularly speaks on panels at international conferences worldwide.
