Jeff Gandel (US)

Jeff Gandel is an entertainment attorney with over 20 years of experience in legal matters ranging from contracts to complex royalty issues. Jeff heads a three lawyer firm based in New York City.

After graduating from Cardozo Law School, Jeff began his career as in-house counsel for Tuff City Records, a label specializing in Hip Hop and catalog reissuing, and within six months he was head of the legal department. In that capacity he handled all legal matters ranging from sample clearance agreements to overseeing major copyright litigation.

Jeff’s current practice specializes in intellectual property law, including music, digital media, technology, videogames and movies. Jeff has been the lawyer for Electric Zoo Festival since its inception and represents many other festivals such as Imagine Festival and Pinknic.
