James Cottle is a UK-based DJ and trance producer known for his powerful melodies combined with strong energy and rhythm that bring human emotion up and connect deeply with the music.

His journey began in the North East of England, inspired by early Tiesto and Paul van Dyk records that first lit his passion and inspire of becoming a DJ and trance music producer. From then on, every record James makes is about creating beautiful music that keeps you going — something to lift you, support you, and inspire you.

Paul van Dyk named James the “Breakthrough DJ of 2016”; it was a turning point in his career. Since then, James has released music with top labels like Armada, FSOE, Vandit and Black Hole Recordings. His tracks “Vortex”, “Place in the Stars”, and “Be As One” have become fan favourites and an inspiration for TikTok creators till this day.Tracks like “Night Flight” and “Trinity” gained international support, earning James recognition for music that balances energy with emotion.

James has played at major events: Luminosity Events, SHINE Ibiza, Nature One, UnKonscious, and Rong Events, as well as club sets at Albert Hall (Manchester, UK), Ministry of Sound (London, UK), Amnesia (Bangkok, Thailand), and Eden (Ibiza, Spain).
