Originally hailing from England, then spending half of her life in California, Farah’s career began in Los Angeles working for powerhouse talent agency, WME, where she focused on brand partnerships for the agency’s high profile music roster which included working with artists such as Lady Gaga, Pharrell Williams, The Osbournes, Alicia Keys, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears,Rihanna, Nervo, The Martinez Brothers, Swedish House Mafia and many more. Bridging the gap between music artists and brands, she helped form the music branding division and worked on brands campaigns with Samsung, Nokia, Smirnoff, Sonos, Absolut, Rolex, Burger King, Hennessey, Virgin Mobile, Cover Girl, P&G, Nike, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, and Red Bull to name a few. After agency life, Farah pursued artist management and continued to consult on brand projects within the electronic music space helping streaming companies such as Clubcast(now known as Socialive), festivals and nightlife promoters such as sbe nightlife. Now based in Berlin, working at Beatport, the world's largest electronic music platform for digital downloads - servicing DJs, producers, and their fans. Farah has a great overview of the company and has had roles within the Label Management, Artist Services and Marketing/Creative Services teams. Now holding the title of Senior Manager of PR and Industry Relations, overseeing PR and communications for the group, which now consists of Beatsource, Loopmasters and Plugin Boutique, helping to enhance the brand’s visibility and execute the overall vision. In addition to leading the press and communications, Farah works closely with the editorial team on Beatportal, and focuses on her passion for community partnerships aligning with philanthropic organizations, as well as projects centered around diversity, mental health and other key initiatives. Outside of work, Farah is a proud member and ambassador of shesaid.so - a global community of women and gender minorities in the music industry. She is also an active member of the Mental Health working group with AFEM, the Association for Electronic Music, a trade association created to connect, and represent the common interests of, those companies and individuals whose business is Electronic Music.
