El Búho (FR)

Robin Perkins, aka El Búho, was born in the hills of northern England but found his musical home in the forests, rivers and mountains of Latin America. Blending Dub, IDM and Electronica with rhythms and melodies of Latin American folk, his music draws on the organic sounds of birdsong, water and wind, creating deep, melodic journeys that work as well on headphones as on the dancefloor. His breakthrough EP Cenotes (Wonderwheel, 2015) and debut album Balance (2017) established him as a leading voice in the organic electronic scene alongside his Boiler Room set in Tulum, Mexico. He went on to release Camino de Flores (2018) and Ramas (2021) as well as working with remixing artists like Bomba Estereo, Quantic, Chancha Via Circuityo and Nickodemus.
