EINSTEYN is the melodic alter ego of Dutch artist Steyn de Boer, also known for his techno project FORBYDN. Growing up surrounded by funk, soul, and disco made rhythm second nature, but house music changed everything — it wasn’t just a style, it was a feeling, a presence.From piano to drums to the DJ booth, Steyn has always sought ways to turn sound into movement. Under EINSTEYN, he delivers hypnotic, groove-driven sets and productions that range from deep, melodic journeys to high-energy dancefloor weapons. His releases on Southwest Branded, including Celestial Flow and Bring It Back, fuse driving basslines, rich harmonies, and instinctive arrangements built for impact.Losing hearing in one ear at a young age could have been a setback, but instead it sharpened his instincts — proof that music isn’t just something you hear, but something you feel.
