DJ DELO (NL)

Giacomo De Lorenzi, also known as DELO, is an Italian DJ living in Amsterdam. He fell in love with the city’s vibrant nightlife, especially the Melodic House and Afro House scene. Inspired by the electrifying atmosphere of the parties, he began exploring DJing. Delo now mixes and plays his own tracks, bringing a unique international flair to the Dutch dance floor.


Delo has had a range of experiences during his six years in the Netherlands. He encountered the challenges typical of a young expat—someone seeking new experiences abroad in search of happiness—which he ultimately found through music. In music, he discovered the strength to express intense emotions. When feeling homesick or going through a difficult period or intense moment, music became the one thing that could restore his sense of joy.


Over time, Delo has fully integrated into Dutch life, building a community with whom he shares his time and works to create something lasting for the future. Music has always been a constant presence in Delo’s life, dating back to his childhood. He worked in PR at one of Italy’s most renowned nightclubs, where he developed a deep affection for nightlife.


Delo is a passionate artist who seeks to tell his story through music. He expresses his emotions and feelings to create an authentic connection with his audience. By sharing his journey, Delo aims to make everyone feel like an essential part of his narrative. Each song invites listeners to immerse themselves in his experiences, fostering joy and belonging.


Inspired by artists like Black Coffee, Andrea Oliva, and Super Flu, his mission is to unite people from all over the globe—creating a sense of community where everyone can celebrate their own stories together. Having played at venues like Akhnaton, Plan No:3 in Amsterdam, and more, Delo continues to perform and is one of the fresh electronic talents to watch in 2025, with many more mix series and performances in the works and growing demand for his DJ sets both nationally and internationally.
