Guillermo Schuurman is a crucial force behind the return of the electronic bubbling sound and has been making waves on a global scale in both underground scenes and on the biggest stages. His groundbreaking debut album ‘Bubbling Inside’ was released in 2021 on Uganda underground label Nyege Nyege to great critical acclaim and he played immense crowds at festivals such as Dekmantel, Lowlands and Draaimolen. The Hague-based Guillermo Schuurman began fusing bubbling rhythms with hip-hop samples, trance synths, and electro wobbles, and managed to bend bubbling through his use of trap percussion, dubstep bass, and dancehall kicks, preserving the DNA of bubbling as well as progressing the sound into the future.
