trenches in Berlin’s infamous Bar25. Through the smoke and fre, these two french gentlemen found their way through Berlin’s bustling music scene, joining forces to give the colorful crowd of Bar25 their dues. Appearing often in various costumes and transforming into many characters on stage, their memorable marathon sets were somewhere between music, performance and comedy. These Dirty Disco House parties helped to make that place even more unique.
Now that the legendary place is closed for good, they decided to spread their retro-futuristic sound under the alias Dada Disco, which sums up the chaos and extravagance of the last years. They play with genres and infuences to deliver their own unique blend of sexy electronics, always favouring spontaneity over etiquette.
Dada est tout. Tout est Dada.
The two entertainers have also been busy boys outside the Bar25, in Berlin and Paris. Denis has been hosting the Comme Ci, Comme Ça parties with partner Jessicat from Lessizmore, and Guillaume had a very hot summer 2010 with his Tropico Disco ! They now have their new residency Dada Land in the most awaited Kater Holzig, successor of the Bar25. They already invited the likes of Radioslave, Nina Kraviz, DJ Kaos, Spencer Parker, Trickski or Hunee for some special Disco-House frenzy!
And while playing in commendable places such as Watergate, Sisyphos, Wilde Renate, Chalet About Blank or events like Sónar (Off), Fusion Festival, KaZantip, Calvi on the Rocks, Cannes Film Festival, Berlinale and Berlin Fashion Week, they extend continuously and effortlessly their playground, with gigs in Moscow, Milan, Vienna, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris and even in the depths of Siberia !
Dada est partout.
