brandstettner (DE)

Brandstettner is a music enthusiast from Germany. Growing up in the former East-Berlin, where he first came into contact with the “black gold” – vinyl records – at the age of five. From then on, music would play a big role in his life. After the fall of the Berlin wall, brandstettner discovered the Berlin club scene. In 1994, brandstettner began buying his own records from Hardwax Berlin and organizing his first parties.

At the beginning of the 2000s he started to discover new clubs and visited festivals and clubs in Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, the Czech Republic, England, Australia and many more. In 2014 he started his podcast series crudehourz, under his alias chris halen, which ended up taking him to clubs from the Netherlands to Serbia.

In 2022 crudehourz became groovehourz. Because the groove is always the driving force in his sets. Regardless of the speed - it has to groove. brandstettner has already played with people like Buddy Suwijn, Jelly for the Babies, TheKoosy, Jaydee, Lemon8, dj Cellie, Erich von Kollar and Nick Muir.
