Not many producers can say they saw their debut release plucked from obscurity and named ‘Demo Of The Week’ by the world’s Number 1 DJ. Rising Swiss talent Askery can. His first ever foray into the world of official production, ‘Hybrid’ caught the attention of Dutch icon Hardwell, who aired it on his global radio show to huge critical attention, officially signaling Askery as a talent to look out for. Without seeming to take a breath, Askery then followed ‘Hybrid’ with not one, but two massive remixes: NERVO’s ‘Not Taking This No More’ on Dutch imprint Spinnin’ Records and a stunning take on Wilkinson’s ‘Too Close’ on major label Virgin EMI/Universal Music. As fans began to follow the name ‘Askery’, it was an unknown track that was to provide his next big hit. First played over a year before release as a mystery track on Nicky Romero’s Protocol Radio Show, ‘NaOH’ caught world- wide attention immediately. When the track finally came out on Beatport through 6K/Armada Music, the results were instantaneous. NaOH surged up the Beatport charts to land at #7 on the Progressive House Chart, #28 on the Main Chart Top 100 and incredibly, still sits at the #1 spot on the 6k/Armada Music Chat today!
