Aryelle Freeman Hopelezz is a Jamaican-born, Amsterdam-based performer, activist, and member of the iconic House of Hopelezz. Over the past decade, she has become a vibrant presence in the Dutch queer and drag scene, known for her powerful lip-syncs, dance, and theatrical performances that merge art with activism.

As a trans woman of color, Aryelle uses her platform to amplify LGBTQI+ voices and advocate for HIV awareness, prevention, and stigma reduction. She has spoken publicly about her own journey with HIV, contributing to global initiatives such as the Global Black Gay Men Connect advisory group.

Beyond the stage, Aryelle is deeply engaged in community building, mentoring younger performers within her drag family, and appearing at cultural spaces and festivals including Viva La Vulva and The Black Archives. Her artistry blends glamour, resilience, and activism, making her both a celebrated performer and a powerful advocate for inclusion and visibility.
