Andy Barlow (GB)

Artist
For almost two decades, as one half of electronic duo LAMB, Andy Barlow has cultivated one of the richest and most innovative sounds in contemporary music. More angular and emotive than trip-hop, more drum’n’bass than folk music, and more organic than most hybridized electronica, LAMB occupy the space between profound sadness and boundless jubilation, using a sophisticated marriage of sound and technology to communicate the rawest and most basic of human emotion. Andy has produced, engineered & co-written (with singer Lou Rhodes) all 6 LAMB albums and has toured the world many times playing live to promote them. In addition to his activity with LAMB, Andy writes and produces music for his solo project LOWB; has remixed songs from artists as varied as Placebo, Elbow & Snow Patrol; has written songs with Damien Rice & David Gray; produced & mixed albums for Fink, Lou Rhodes, The Ramona Flowers and David Gray and has also been commissioned and written numerous songs, commercials and soundtracks for TV & Film. 2013 saw him produce and co-write the debut album from hotly-tipped Bristol band The Ramona Flowers and produce and mix the highly-anticipated new album Mutineers from David Gray. In 2014 Andy co-wrote, produced and mixed songs for the sixth LAMB album Backspace Unwind which was released in October 2014 followed by a UK/International Lamb tour.
