Andrew hails originally from Buffalo, New York where his career in music began modestly in 1996. He had a part time job controlling the bookings of 2 small venues in town which hosted varied formats of bands and DJs nightly. He soon developed a diverse local 'roster' of performers of many types and began booking these acts at gallery openings, private events and more. He was an active member of the Dance Music scene in Buffalo until deciding to expand his horizons in 1998 when he literally sold everything and moved to San Francisco with one suitcase. After his move he began an 8 year stint as a DJ, as well as a Promotion Company called "The Fool", doing large scale underground warehouse parties in San Francisco each branded with a different 'fool' card from tarot decks. Simultaneous to these endeavors, in 1999 a brief internship with Urb Magazine doing street team promo work in San Francisco quickly led to landing a job at Om Records as an Assistant, then 4 years in other positions in marketing, sales/distribution, A&R, Event Production and more. In 2004 Om Records added an in house Booking Agent to the team to develop the Artist performance facet of the label. After a few months of eavesdropping on phone calls and watching the Agent develop talent and travel the World - Andrew knew exactly what he wanted to do. In the bedroom of his Haight Street apartment in Nov of 2004, boutique Booking Agency Blue Collar Entertainment was born specializing in House and Techno. Mostly domestic acts at first but the Agency soon boasted a diverse International roster. Kelsey carried on as a one man show before meeting his current business partner Mariesa Stevens in 2008. Blue Collar grew by leaps and bounds and in 2010 rebranded as Liaison Artists. Liaison now occupies a warehouse office space in the Dogpatch district of San Francisco, has 12 staff and a full roster of more than 100 of the most cutting edge House and Techno Artists on the planet.
