Alzira Schaap (NL)

Alzira Schaap has been part of the European collaboration ‘Green Deal Circular Festivals’ since its inception, acting on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW). As a public-private network developer at Haskoning, she specializes in building bridges between diverse sectors by creating Living Learning Networks. Her work focuses on addressing systemic challenges such as the circular economy through collaboration and innovation.

Alzira is a strong advocate for the vital role of the creative sector in driving societal transitions. She believes that beyond their reach and potential as testing grounds, creative industries have the unique power to connect people emotionally to nature and to inspire the positive narratives we need for a sustainable future.
