Aluku Rebels (GB)

Jodie Denis, aka Aluku Rebels, was born and raised in one of the world’s most multicultural cities, London. Growing up with a mixed heritage – Dominican, Greek, Irish and English – Jodie’s musical influences ranged from Funk, Zouk, 80's Ballad and Reggae, through to Afrobeat, Detroit House and Latin sounds. Music gave him a solid understanding of both organic and electronic sounds from an early age, and it is with this knowledge that he is now emerging as one of the UK’s new era Dj's. He skillfully blends effects and mixes subgenres of house with his true passion, Afro House, an area which he has been dedicated to promoting for over five years, and has further inspired him to set up his own record label in 2014.
