Susanne is a jazz saxophone player, performing within all different styles and genres, mainly jazz, funk and house related. Born in Germany she was raised by parents who are music teachers/ musicians. After her jazz saxophone studies in Amsterdam and Berlin she became a professional freelance musician. Her strength is her great ability to play by ear, with both, musicians and dj's, as well has rocking the crowd with her funky and warm sound.

Within jazz she became well-known for her funky sound and her jazz-funk crossover collaborations with funk trombone player Fred Wesley (James Brown, J.B.'s), and also playing and recording with Maceo Parkers' band members Bruno Speight and Jamal Thomas.

She can be heard with house and jazzy/soulful dj's, throughout the whole world since 2000. In 2001 she was booked for the Barclay Dance Blend together with Roog. This was broadcasted by TMF, the Dutch Music Television Channel and it resulted in loads of bookings eversince. She's been working with a.o.: Erick E, Roog, Hardsoul Live, Natarcia, DJ Promiss, Martin Damen, Ronald Molendijk, Marc van Dale, Cassie 6, Graham B, DJ Maestro, DJ Spinna, Jazzy D, Danney Canova, ENO-C , Kit-T, Ignacio, Dennis van der Geest, D-Reflection and the Wicked Jazz Sounds dj's. MC's/vocalists: Lex Empress, MC Nova, Miss Bunty, Berenice van Leer, Mavis Acquah, MC Choral, MC Haits, Lorren. Also she has her own house formation Heels & Beats.

At this moment she's working on her 6th album which will be out in spring 2016. Also she's working on remixing her material whch will be released during this autumn/winter/spring season.
