After premiering at Best Kept Secret last year and a sophomore edition at ADE22, Secret Artists in Residence settles down on the top floor of ADE Pro this year. A one-off music studio will be built at Felix Meritis to host unusual collaborations, produce records and jam out with an eclectic roster of artists including Steve Rachmad, Alberta Balsam, Mathew Jonson, Sarah Neutkens, Sie Medway-Smith & the concept’s host and curator Pitto himself. HE.SHE.THEY. — How to create positivity out of frustration
Events and record label collective HE.SHE.THEY. is celebrating its 5 year anniversary in 2023 with 50 label releases under its belt — they are the first ever electronic brand to become a global client of international powerhouse William Morris Endeavor Agency (WME) and focuses on platforming and promoting inclusivity and diversity in electronic music. How did HE.SHE.THEY. co-founders Steven Braines and Sophia Kearney take their frustration with the industry and turn it into a global concept? They are joined by WME agents Bailey Greenwood and Fernando Montes alongside HE.SHE.THEY.’s own Ashraf Ejjbair and Shelter Amsterdam’s MD & Programmer Onomé Sarawi, to dive into establishing an effective D&I strategy, and how to grow equality and fairness from inside the system.
Warner Music's Selina Chowdhury
In addition, we are joined by Selina Chowdhury, the Head of Marketing for Emerging Markets at Warner Music. Selina oversees international artist development and strategy for Emerging Markets regions including Africa, India, the Middle East and the Eastern Mediterranean. She also launched and manages Warner Music’s new Emerging Markets dance label, OUT OF ORDER, which aims to highlight artists, music, cultures, and communities around the globe.
