Hugo Langras (NL)

Hugo has a very diverse background. In the nineties, while studying business administration, he started his career in music as an MC for artists like DJ Rob, Pulsedriver and Klubbheads. He worked as A&R manager for record labels Arcade and ID&T Music, followed by a position as CEO for E-commerce start-up Teleshop BV, where he was primarily responsible for attracting venture capital. Wanting to work in music again, he started to work for indie record label Digidance BV, eventually being promoted to COO. In this position Hugo was responsible for day to day management of the label and the founding of a very successful booking agency. In 2008, Hugo founded Montana ECI BV, an artist management company, out of a desire to use his combined experiences as an artist, businessman and label executive to help artists become more successful. Throughout the years, Montana ECI was involved in the success of many artists, such as Afrojack, Bassjackers, DJ Chuckie, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and R3hab. In 2016, Hugo co-founded Current Management, a brand new management company, which works for artists and producers like Avedon, Brooke Evers, Deadly Zoo, Eva Shaw, Michael Mendoza, Scott Storch and Sidney Samson. In that same year Hugo co-founded Red Smoke, an independent publishing company.
