Eva Cleven (NL)

Eva Cleven loves life and wants to try everything, preferably at the same time. She grew up dancing and singing, learned to perform double pirouettes at her dance academy and studied musical science at the University of Amsterdam. During a study News and Media she developed a love for radio and she has been collecting vinyl since she was thirteen. Currently Eva is a well-known dj at leading urban radio station FunX where she presents her own shows on Friday and Sunday afternoon. She is also presenter for national public media service NTR and hosts the famous show ‘Klokhuis’ on national tv. For VPRO’s 2Doc she regularly interviews documentary makers, for example during International Documentary Festival Amsterdam. And every summer you can find Eva at various music festivals (Pinkpop, Down The Rabbit Hole, Best Kept Secret, Lowlands, Woo Hah!) where she reports for NPO3. In 2016, Eva won the prestigious Philip Bloemendal Prijs for presentation talent in journalism and in 2017 the Marconi Award for upcoming talent. She recently also took part in TV show ‘It Takes 2’ and made it to the final.
