His talents as a DJ, Remixer and DJ for the MULTI PLATINUM selling band Texas have taken him far and wide around the globe. After purchasing a couple of decks and a mixer it didn’t take long for Mark to become the Northwest Mixing Champion in a number of competitions in 1991,1992,1993 & 1995.
During this period Mark co-produced a number of radio shows on commercial radio stations in the Manchester area. Not satisfied with just being a competitive DJ and a radio presenter Mark switched his mixing skills to night clubs, Dj’ing at many high profile club events in the Manchester area and eventually expanding to many venues in and around the UK. Since that time Mark has played alongside a large number of high profile DJ’s ( Grandmaster Flash, Judge Jules, The Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim, Freestylers, Ninja Tunes, Goldie, Scratch Perverts) Mark was the supporting DJ for Madonna at the Brixton Academy.
Mark’s hunger for music brought him into the world of recording, Mark was asked to lay down scratches for Sharleen Spiteri’s multi Platinum band Texas. Since joining the band he has been involved in some of the most high profile shows in the music industry. Working with the band gave Mark the inspiration to start making music himself, after which he was offered to do remixes for DMC. Since then he has remixed a large number of high profile artists (J.lo, Busta Rhymes, Dr Dre, Destiny’s Child) and achieved a show reel many would be impressed with.
Mark has recently had his own releases alongside Stonebridge, Olav Basoski, Ron Carroll, Todd Terry, Kathy Brown, and has featured on Roger Sanchez Release Yourself Show.
