Dirk Malschaert (NL)

As one of the founders, Dirk has been head of program since 2001. Dirk works with all major Dutch DJ's and is always looking for new talents. Dancetour is one of the oldest dance events in the Netherlands and attracts over 100.000 visitors. Free entrance, open-air locations in 11 city centres and of course the internationally well-known DJ's constituting the line-ups make Dancetour a popular festival. The concept Dancetour stands for ‘Bringing people together’ which is realized by organizing Dancetour events, a DJ Clash competition with 300+ DJ’s, Mixperience with mentally handicapped and co-creation with 200 students from 15 different educationals (bachelor).
