Raymond van Vliet (1970) is the co-founder of Cloud 9 Music, one of the leading independent publishing and record companies in the World. Cloud 9 is celebrating his 15th anniversary on November the 1th 2019. Raymond started his career in 1995 at the Dutch Neighbouring Rights Society SENA in 1995 before joining BMG Publishing in 1996 and another seven years at Strengholt Music before he started Cloud 9 in 2004 together with Maykel Piron, Armin van Buuren and Dave Lewis. Raymond has also been on the Board of Buma Stemra since 2008 and is currently on of the two publishers on the Supervisory Board of Buma Stemra.
