Hailing from Lviv, the second city of Ukraine, Tigran Oganezov is now regarded by many as one his countries leading international EDM artist. Not bad for someone who was two years ago dabbling in music production while studying for a degree in economics. Nowadays Tigrans productions are a fixture in many of the worlds elite DJ playlists, his own DJ sets are pulverising every crowd he plays to, and his mission to become the global ambassador for dance music in Ukraine is well under way! Tigrans productions have been described as 'pushing the boundaries' and he delivers some of the most imaginative and off the wall tracks out there today.His unique sound that could be from the year 3000 was born in 2008 when he moved away from his love for harder Dutch styles to concentrate on a new found love for making a slower, more tech based track. Bookings in his homeland soon started when Ukranian club promoters heard Tigrans productions and promo mixes. Starting his producing career with an eery, tough, complex tech hybrid, fusing electro, industrial sounds, haunting fx, trance melody and tech grooves he was discovered by Detox in Holland who are globally respected for their more experimental and harder tech trance sound . The UK label CGI were next to fall for the Ukranians offerings with the CGI label head, Mixmag and Island Records very own Charlie G showing continued support . Since his first steps into the world of producing, Tigran has continued to evolve as an artist and develop his sound to one that’s certainly still his own but is more anthemic with big room moments, merging his infectious grooves, mind bending fx , headfuck basses, epic breakdowns and huge leads into a more rounded, big hit sound! He is also bringing some vocalists into play and has a fine selection of Ukranian and Russian up and coming talents on remix duties along side other globally renowned producers. Early 2010 saw the birth of the Mass Motion Nights where Tigran and his Mass Motion crew debuted international guests all year.These clubnights expanded into a huge Truck Party which ended in a free rave in the city centre! 2011 sees Tigran raise the bar again with his events moving from the clubs, to 4 thousand capacity Hangar events with bigger international guests than ever before. His aim is to provide the Western Ukrainian crowd with a big room dance experience which includes massive production and sound.This new concept is called the ULTRA SONIC Musical Festival. Every month he delivers his ‘Automation Generation’ 2 hour hosted radio show on DI.FM which is the worlds leading electronic dance channel online.
