Sara Gozalo (ES)

Sara Gozalo is the International Lead for the Music Partner Technology team at YouTube Music, where she and her team deal with music labels across EMEA & APAC from a technical point of view. Sara is a telecommunications engineer, with over 10 years in the digital media and music technology industry. Previously, Sara worked at the BBC as Senior Software engineer and Innovation lead for the BBC Music & Radio team, keeping the music team closer to the tech industry. After 10 years in London, she recently moved back to Madrid.

Sara is also a big advocate of the startup and innovation world, and she used to attend a lot of Startup Weekends or Hackathons. She is now taking it to the next level and has recently started investing in startups.
When Sara is not on her laptop, she enjoys rock climbing, playing the clarinet and piano, or seeing others make music in gigs and festivals. She is also a big fan of new technologies and helping the community, she recently started a music industry event in Madrid, called Music Up that tries to connect all the sides of the music industry in Spain.
