Osman Beats’ passion for electronic music started in 2009, when he finally saved enough money to buy an old set of CDJ’s. Inspired by the many nights of partying in and around Amsterdam, Casper Nederhand expanded his music collection and began to develop a specific taste for funky, bassline heavy, melodic House music. Casper is not only inspired by House music, but also takes his inspiration from Hip-hop (old and new), future beats and vocal-heavy R&B. When DJ’ing, you can hear that mr. Osman Beats doesn’t like to narrow his sets down to one particular style, but rather tries to find the edges of the rich genre that is called House music. So you’re never too sure what you might end up hearing when you hear this guy play! Next to DJ’ing, Casper is co-running a non-profit label called Paper Crane Label.
