Maktub is a music publishing company based out of The Netherlands. Founded in 2012, Maktub Music Publishing is deeply committed to champion and develop songwriters. We bridge the gap between creativity and commerce, ensuring that artists receive the recognition and compensation they deserve. We have a global approach, we're ambitious, fearless, and want to push the idea that what we do has impact, is original, authentic, and most of all that it has meaning and purpose. We aren't just helping our artists make records, it’s about inspiring, challenging, and introducing them to the right people. Building relationships and to help sculpting careers. Our name, "Maktub," is inspired by the Arabic word meaning "it is written." We embrace this philosophy, recognising that every note, every lyric, and every melody has a story to tell and a purpose to fulfill.
