John Wilcock ()

John Wilcock is a Foreign Service Officer working for the U.S. Department of State. He currently serves as Consul at the U.S. Consulate General in Amsterdam, Netherlands. John’s previous overseas appointments include Assistant Information Officer in Baghdad, Iraq, Vice-Consul in Manila, Philippines, and Assistant Information Officer in Brasília, Brazil. His domestic postings include Post Liaison Officer in the Visa Office within the Bureau of Consular Affairs and Watch officer in the State Department’s Operations Center, He is a two-time recipient of the Department’s Superior Honor Award and has also received the Meritorious Honor Award twice. Prior to joining the Foreign Service, John worked as a marketing communications executive in Stamford, Connecticut, serving clients that included Apple Computer, Hasbro Toys, the Discovery Channel and the Newspaper Association of America.
