Jerome Krom (NL)

At the age of 17 (after having been a bedroom/local dj for some years) he started to dj at the "Fresh to Impress" hiphop nights at Paradiso Amsterdam and played on many fashionshows around the Netherlands to learn the dj techniques on all fronts from hiphip, acidjazz, funk, pop, disco and soul. With the appearance of house music his focus changed to this new energetic form of dance music. He then started his residency at Dwiezels at the age of 19 in Haarlem where he dj-ed for almost 4 years. Mixing funky house grooves with melodic techno he quickly became one of the players in the dj scene. Since then he's been playing at clubs, discotheques and big events, to name a few, Tortured (The End, London), Impulz Festivals (Netherlands), DanceValley (Netherlands), I Love Techno (Belgium), Housetorhout Festival Belgium, Looseclub Amsterdam [Rillis], Lovefields Festival, Stalker Haarlem, Minds Manual Parties, Grand Hotel Gooiland, Playground Parties, Record3r Parties, Rockit Parties, Sound Architecture Parties, Static Parties, Awakenings Gashouder & Festivals (Amsterdam & Rotterdam - Now & Wow) and was resident on the Syntech technobeachpartys (Den Hague, Netherlands) and QBASE Techno parties by ID&T, Doornroosje Nijmegen,Melkweg, Paradiso, Eye on the future, HQ Parties, 5 Days Off, Monumental, Blackout, Club Risk, Concept Parties by HQ, Dial t for Techno, Flatliners Schagen, and many more. Jerome played with just about any collegue dj/artist in the techno scene since 1997 and is a Dj and Artist with a lot of routine, skills and character. Jerome was in 1998 one of the first artists in the Netherlands offering free downloads of his mixes from gigs and venues where he played on his own website, in that time this was still very uncommon and was not yet understood by the bigger audience like it is nowadays in 2015. Jerome is a definite pioneer on many fronts, never sits still and cant be hold back. Nowadays Jerome is a respected producer, dj and remixer in his own style, Jerome produces many vinyl releases in the old days and nowadays mostly digital releases too and exstensive amount of 80 releases came from his hands with a bunch of those as colaborations. Jerome’s records often enters the charts. Alongside solo projects on Alola, Musicman, 100% Pure, Outland, PhysicalSoul, Placktownsounds, Fierce and MusicmanPocket, Jerome has recently remixed for the likes of Jamie Anderson, Laidback Luke, Steve Rachmad and Vince Watson. Known for his deep, groovy dynamic flow he`s gradually risen to become a regular at clubs and parties all over Europe. Since June 2005 Jeroen Krom is the official owner of the Outland Records store in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The store's label, Outland Records is rebooted too by Jeroen.
