Museum Embassy of the Free Mind is about you and your place in the world. The library collection, the Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica, UNESCO Memory of the World, consists of more than 28,000 special and often ancient books. They all tell in their own way that man, nature and the universe are connected at every level. So you too are part of everything around you: All is One. In the books and pictures you can discover everything about Hermetic philosophy, alchemy, Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, Kabbalah, mysticism, magic, astrology, tarot and more. Philosophers and free thinkers who have played a role in Amsterdam, such as Spinoza, also have a place there. And then there's also an alchemical flower garden and a cafe! The Embassy of the Free Mind is located in the House with the Heads on the Keizersgracht, an atmospheric historic canal house that was built in 1622.
