Junior Email Marketeer (Freelance)

The Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation (ADE) is the leading business and inspiration platform for the electronic music industry, as well as the largest club festival for electronic music and dance culture in the world. With over 200 venues, 3,000 performing acts and 500,000 visitors by music lovers and professionals from all over the world, Amsterdam is the global hub for the electronic music industry for five days and nights during ADE.


Job description & activities:

As a Junior Newsletter Marketeer, you will play a role in crafting and executing ADE's direct mailing campaigns to engage with our audience of music professionals (ADE Conference) and electronic music enthusiasts (ADE Festival). Your responsibilities will include designing and writing compelling newsletters, managing email campaigns, and optimizing communications to enhance interactions and attendance. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure that our newsletters effectively communicate upcoming events, news, and promotional content, aligning with ADE's brand and strategic goals.

Key duties will involve curating content, scheduling regular dispatches, segmenting the audience for targeted marketing, and maintaining the health of our email list. You will also contribute to developing promotional strategies that leverage newsletter insights to increase attendance and participation in ADE events.

Your profile:
+ You have 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on email marketing; experience with B2B marketing is a plus;
+ You possess strong skills in newsletter design tools and email marketing platforms;
+ You are adept at data analysis and able to derive actionable insights from engagement metrics;
+ You have excellent written communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus;
+ You are organized, creative, and can manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment;
+ You are detail-oriented and can work both independently and as part of a team;
+ Good knowledge of the electronic music industry is beneficial;
+ Ideally, you are based in or near Amsterdam.
