Intern Copywriting Marketing & Communication

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most important conference for electronic dance music, as well the world's biggest club festival. The event takes place in October and attracts more than 400.000 visitors from all over the world. Besides being the number one event for the EDM-industry, ADE also constitutes a solid base for the industry's future generation(s). With more than 1000 events in five days, hosted in some +200 locations, Amsterdam is turned into the global center of electronic music every year.

The internship:
Are you a student who conjures up challenging and to the point social and news texts in English from his / her pen? Can you turn a basic design into a successful article in an instant and do you have an excellent eye for what visually fits well with it? Are you also social media savvy and at home in CMS systems? Then we are looking for you! For the Marketing & Communication department, ADE is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated copywriting intern.

You:

+ Are a budding copywriter and write appropriate, English texts and know how to appeal to the right target group

+ Have an affinity with electronic music and its industry

+ Are able to be flexible and you are creative in finding solutions

+ Are punctual, independent and well organized in a team

+ Provide peace and structure in your work, even during busy periods and with turbulent schedules

+ Are currently following a course of at least Higher Professional Education (HBO) level

+ Have a professional attitude to work and deals constructively with feedback

+ Good knowledge of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)

+ Good understanding of Dutch and good communication skills in English, both in speech and writing

+ Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop / Illustrator etc.) is an advantage
