Practical info for ADE conference visitors
ADE takes place in more than a 1000 venues spread over different areas of Amsterdam. If you're new to the city or ADE, make sure to check out this guide to help you get around and attend your events smoothly.
Getting started
Start your ADE by visiting one of the Info & Ticket centers to pick up your wristband. There are multiple places to exchange your e-ticket for the wristband. Check out where you need to go based on your ticket via the drop-down menu below:

ADE x BMIM wristbands can only be picked up on the day of the BMIM conference.

ADE x Start Up wristbands can only be picked up on the day of the Start Up conference.

ADE x Green wristbands can only be picked up on the day of the Green conference.

ADE x Beats wristbands can only be picked up on the day of the Beats conference.
Please be aware that your E-ticket is strictly personal and non-transferable. Identification with your ID/passport is mandatory which means your items cannot be picked up by someone else.

How to get around during ADE
By rail - from Schiphol
When you arrive at Schiphol airport the easiest way to travel to the Amsterdam city center is by train; the station is located directly underneath the airport's arrival hall. The train takes you to Amsterdam Central Station within 15 minutes. Train tickets are available at the ticket office in the airport´s main hall and/or from the yellow ticket machines.
By public transport
Travel with ease from event to event by tram, metro, bus or ferry with Amsterdam’s public transport. Download the GVB travel app here to plan your trips. If you’ve purchased the ADE Pro Pass, you’ll receive a personal discount code with which you can unlock a ticket in the app to travel for free during ADE.
Uber around
Don't miss a beat or panel during ADE! Uber gets you wherever you need to go. Download the app, request a ride and a nearby driver will arrive in minutes.
If you are requesting a ride from Schiphol, please await your Uber at the designated Uber pick-up which is in front of Schiphol Sheraton Hotel.
By bike
Picking up a bike? Good choice! You can read more about cycling in Amsterdam here. Please make sure to always park your bicycle properly in the designated bicycle spots or barges to prevent it from being removed by the local authorities.
How to get around during ADE
