Témé Tan (BE)

Being Belgian with Congolese roots, Témé Tan grew up surrounded by zouk and rumba music of the Democratic Republic of Congo and pop music as well. Therefore, the producer is able to create ultra-modern music with a deep respect for older traditions and identities. As he travelled the globe during his studies, including Brazil and Japan, he would discover a musical identity more complex than even his origins might have suggested. His debut single got the attention of PIAS, and now, a couple of years later, he is ready to begin the next phase. 2017 has seen Témé Tan perform at Eurosonic, The Great Escape, and support shows across the UK and Europe with Milky Chance, Ibeyi and others.
