Safdhar Adoor (IN)

Safdhar Adoor has finished B.Tech in Civil Engineering from M.S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore and then went on to pursue a Masters Business Strategy & Consulting from the Imperial College Business School, London

Safdhar began his Entrepreneurial Journey with Rices Obliquity Event Organisation Company in Bangalore that was responsible for having brought down the biggest artists in the world to Bangalore city. At the age of 17, Safdhar co-founded Rices Obliquity (a clubbing community) to bring all of Bangalore together for incredible nightlife experiences and was instrumental in bringing David Guetta, Avicii, Hardwell, Dada Life, Matzo, Deadmau5, Armin Van Bureen, Above and beyond and more than 100+ artists to Bangalore, India.

He took another step in this direction in December 2014 and co-founded SteppinOut (India’s largest experience curator) to change how people spend their weekends and get entertained offline. Since its inception, he has launched disruptive experiences
such as Movie Nights, Comedy Nights, Night Markets, Food Festivals and Wanderfests in 18 cities and produce 800+ events per annum. Steppinout got acquired by Times Internet Limited in 2020 and by India’s largest food tech company Swiggy in 2022. Currently Steppinout is the largest consumer events company in India producing 1000+ events per annum


In 2018, Safdhar started working on building V&RO Hospitality as the Director & Co-founder. VRO Hospitality, is one of the faster growing hospitality chain in India which is the parent company of Popular Restaurant brands like Hangover, Badmaash, Nevermind, Cafe Noir, Tycoons, PlanB, Mirage, Taki taki branched over 30+ outlets in India and another 100 + stores in the pipeline.
