She is a veteran international Dj, producer, remixer and CEO of her labels Soul Sun Soul Music celebrating it's tenth year anniversary and Afro Sun Recordings and Afro Sun Wear, events called AfflickteD and a new T-shirt line called Afro Sun Wear. In an industry dominated by males Mikki Afflick is showing that she is the ("King" of her Queendom™). Hails as "The House Empress™ Born under the zodiac sign of Leo Mikki Afflick this roaring Lioness was born in Colon Republic of Panama and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Mikki comes from a family of musicians, singers, and dancers "My dad is one of the biggest influences in my music career, who ran an after-hours nightclub in the 1970's, Mikki would always love to spin records, when her dad took her there, and she played her first set at the tender age of 9 when the Dee Jay was a no show . Fast forward today, Mikki blends a mixture of Afro, Deep, Soulful House, World, Dance Classics, and Afro Cuba Music. She is a high energy Dee Jay and there is never a dull moment in her sets she leave the dancers Afflick-i-FieD™. She has DJ along with many House Dee Jay's including Grammy winner's Louie Vega, who had her host her own label music's party at his residency "Roots" at Cielo. As being the C.E.O. for her digital label Soul Sun Soul Music founded in 2009, the label has released many chart topping releases, with # 1 Album “Vanity”. Top 100 of the Year tracks I am Africa, My Spirit , Day Dreaming and Black Coffee. She knocked her self out of the # 1 position with two of her beats in the Traxsource Beat genre in 2017, and was named Traxsource Top Afro Producer, 2016 and 2018. The label's music has been played by some of house music’s biggest International Dj’s such as,David Morales, Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, Joe Claussell, Ron Trent, Danny Krivit, John "Jellybean " Benitez, Black Coffee, Hector Romero, Tedd Patterson, David Harness,Timmy Rigisford, all over the world. Grammy award winner DJ and producer David Morales has re work her smash hit tune "Dream Catcher " and it was used in the WMC video trailer of Kings Of House Miami as see in video below, as well as "Thunder Drum Dance" remix coming out on Nervous Records.
