Mark Smitz ()

Mark Smitz is General Director and owner of MedEvent, an organization providing professional medical care at all types of events. MedEvent provides more than 200 dance-related events of extensive preclinical care every year. Mark also has a professional background in mental health care. He worked 5 years in a clinic for addicted young adults and then over 8 years at an alcohol and drug prevention department. He mainly specialized in prevention projects on recreational drug use in the night life and coffee shops and researched developments in the dance scene. "I'm a dance enthusiast myself and enjoy all the beautiful people and music I experience at parties. As a professional I’m also always aware of the possible risks. It’s my goal to keep parties as safe as possible for a better celebration of these events.”
