Lars Kischkel (DE)

Lars is iZotope's head of EMEA, and is running their international team out of the iZotope office Berlin. His way into the industry started with the first synthesizer he bought at the age of 14. At the same time, he became a certified church organ player and played at services for many years. After playing in bands and touring internationally he decided to extend his audio production knowledge by studying at SAE and the University of Cologne. In the following years he worked in various fields of audio production before he found his profession in becoming a professional producer, mixing engineer and songwriter. During this time he contributed to many internationally awarded productions, mostly with Universal Music Publishing. After years in the studio Lars decided to explore the other side of this business and became a product specialist for Pro Tools. He visited countless commercial studios and VIPs all over the world in order to train them on audio production and Pro Tools. In parallel he was still mixing in his studio for electronic music acts and released a house version of Adele’s hit “Hello” with the NY singer and DJ Sean Bradford. As a guest lecturer Lars has worked for EDU institutions like SAE, Audio Academy Hamburg, Pop Akademie Mannheim and Film Akademie Ludwigsburg, teaching classes in vocal production, presentation skills, mixing, arrangement, and songwriting. Over the past 3 years, Lars has built up the iZotope team in Europe and is in charge of all sales and marketing activities in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Russia and India.
