Dymphie (she/her) is an experienced programme maker, producer, and strategist driven by the mission to use creativity as a tool for new ideas and solutions to issues related to social justice. She organises programmes, events, and talk shows about art, (inclusive) design and technology, and entrepreneurship. She worked at Amsterdam-based Pakhuis de Zwijger for 8,5 years, her latest work there was a research- and activity programme focussing on creating cities of belonging: how can we design products, spaces, and systems in which everyone can feel represented and at home? In January 2022, she pursued her freelance work with clients as N8BM Amsterdam, De Effenaar, Kunstlinie Almere, Stimuleringsfonds Creatieve Industrie, Waag FutureLab, and What Design Can Do. Dymphie also has experience as a moderator: she hosted talks, panels and design thinking sessions about human rights, creative culture, and nightlife a.o.. Next to that, she works as a Diversity trainer for Trickle.work and as a facilitator for Mischief Makers, and is the co-founder of Fuckup Nights Amsterdam, a platform where makers, start-ups, small businesses, and leading corporations share their failures and lessons learned.
