Brixton (GB)

Brixton was born and raised in London [Brixton], staying true to his part of town, he just went with the name Brixton. He moved to the Netherlands (Rotterdam) with his mother and twin brother when he was 11 years old. Music has always been a very important part of his life, he was influenced by different musical genres such as Jazz, Classic, Pop, Hip-Hop, and Reggae. After many years of having a very successful career as a pop singer in a famous Dutch boy-band called (Romeo), he decided to explore a different music genre and was taken by the sounds of House music. BRIXTON got introduced to the famous radio station AMW.FM [Amsterdam’s Most Wanted] and got the opportunity to host his own 2-hour weekly show called (BrixtonOnAir), which is broadcasted every Tuesday from 10pm till 12am. From day one he got supported by (Simon Titus), also an AWM radio DJ who invited him to spin some tunes at his monthly event [The Day After] which is hosted at Club NL in Amsterdam. After attending one of these nights, BRIXTON was asked to host his own club night at the Club NL. He didn’t hesitate for a second. He called it (WANKA), it’s every Monday night from 11pm till 3am. [It’s all about Underground House music supported by female DJ’s]. In January 2016 BRIXTON traveled to Los Angeles [USA] to work with a couple of producers, the first release is expected this year.
