James Wheeler began his career in the hospitality industry at the age of 18 in Hertfordshire. At the age of 21, he moved to Bournemouth where he quickly became the Manager of a popular local restaurant, Café Shore.
In 2013, he moved to London and began working for specialist drinks agency, Sweet & Chilli. After developing his skills for customer service at several high-volume venues in London, he was approached to join Dandelyan as Assistant General Manager, falling in love with the people, the product and the guests. James has developed a passion for sustainable drinking during his time at Dandelyan and it is a key focus among the team, particularly when it comes to menu development. The entire Mr Lyan team have adopted a mindful approach to the way that the bars run to ensure that reducing waste is always at the forefront of their minds.
