Brian Fitzgerald

Brian Fitzgerald

Brian Fitzgerald has been a storyteller and activist with Greenpeace since 1982. He's been arrested for interfering with an underground nuclear weapons test detonation, hung a banner on the Statue of Liberty, and gone to sea to save whales. As an early adopter of digital technology he pioneered Greenpeace's use of the web and mobile technology as digital activism tools, helping shift the environmental policies of companies from Apple to Unilever. From the stages of tech conferences such as SXSW and Le Web, he makes a case for alliance between entrepreneurs and activists, in the belief that better world is not only possible, it's being built today. He's @brianfit on Twitter. Read more
