Live and Diverse: China's Music Streaming Market
14:00 - 14:45 De Balie (B2 Panel Room)
China’s market for streaming music is booming. Music platforms are growing by millions of users every quarter and are developing new business models to promote artists and righteously channel royalties. As in most Asian countries, local content is king but electronic and Western music is gaining ground. The new generation is much more willing to pay for content as before. And their music of choice is electronic.

Putting the C in Dance
15:00 - 15:45 De Balie (B2 Panel Room)
Creating a dance music culture in China is not a copy and paste process. For many reasons the scene needs development and is in need of its own artists and stars. With its rich culture China’s own heritage can reflect in the electronic music scene. But how? How can the China factor be put into dance? And how can that product be shipped worldwide?
