YouTube is a double edged sword as any musician or label knows – potentially the biggest platform on the planet, but hard to navigate and reap reards from. This workshop will offer some tips for those who want to get the most out of it: best practices on YouTube marketing, different avenues available for promoting your music, and a breakdown of the marketing tools that are available on YouTube. These will be demonstrated with examples, but just as important, there will be discussion of where creativity fits intot he picture, and how best to maximise its impact.
