15:30 - 16:30
DeLaMar Theater (D5 Panel Room) | Marnixstraat 402, Amsterdam

Plastic is a  material  our  planet  cannot  digest, and only a small amount of all the plastic produced is recycled, the rest ends up in landfill, in the street or in the natural environment. The result is that huge amounts of plastic are polluting the planet and its waterways, threatening  the  environment  and  even our food supply.

This panel puts plastic under the microscope, explaining the global scale of the problem and looking deep into the different solutions festivals can implement. How feasible to re-use, recycle, and redesign the production processes of your festival? In  this  panel  you ‘ll see new ways of dealing  with  (single- use)  plastic  at your event that are also relevant and applicable to numerous other situations.
